Garena Free Fire has officially announced a collaboration with Sony Entertainment Pictures. Through this collaboration, Free Fire players will get a variety of exclusive content from the latest Venom movie: Let There Be Carnage which will be released next month.
This collaboration also marks Free Fire’s first partnership with the film franchise. Later in this collaboration, Free Fire players will be able to experience the in-game experience and a collection of Venom-themed characters.
Not only that, players can also see various easter eggs or hidden messages regarding the elements of this battle royale game in the Venom movie. This collaboration will start on October 10, 2021.
“Free Fire players can use this iconic Marvel character, which reflects the Free Fire gameplay (making noise and defeating the enemy to survive),” said Garena Free Fire Producer, Harold Teo, in an official statement received Monday (27/9/2021) .
Meanwhile, EVP Brand Strategy and Global Partnerships from Sony Pictures Entertainment, Jeffrey Godsick, said that partnering with Free Fire and other communities is the right step to strengthen the Venom: Let There Be Carnage movie experience.
Some of the content that will be present through this collaboration are exclusive in-game Venom items including special in-game events. Players can also showcase their characters with various Venom skins.
To note, Venom: Let There Be Carnage is a sequel to the 2018 film Venom. This film takes the story a year after the events of the first film, where Eddie Brock struggles to adjust to being the host of an alien symbiote.
On the other hand, Garena has announced pre-registration for the Free Fire Max game. After opening on August 29, 2021, Garena has now announced the game’s global launch schedule.
Quoted from Dot Esports, Tuesday (21/9/2021), in its official statement, Garena announced that it would start rolling out Free Fire Max globally on September 28, 2021 on the Google Play Store and App Store.
Every player who has pre-registered will get an exclusive prize. The pre-registration for this battle royale game is still open until September 27, 2021.
Previously, the producer of Garena Free Fire, Christian Wihananto, said that his party had also opened pre-registration for Free Fire Max since the end of last month. He said, in addition to realistic graphics, this game will present a number of additional new features
Christian said, players who want to try Free Fire Max later don’t have to worry about losing progress in playing the current Free Fire game. Because, Garena has used Firelink technology to connect the data for the two versions of the battle royale game.
Through this technology, players can login to Free Fire Max using a similar account that is currently used. In addition, all player data, progress, and items collected can be synchronized between the current Free Fire and the Max version.
