New on Netflix April 1: The Bubble

Talk about a meta movies! New on Netflix this weekend is The Bubble, a wild and cheeky comedy film about making a movie during COVID-19. In the middle of the pandemic, a group of actors travel to a closed film set in England to film the sixth installment of their successful dinosaur-themed blockbuster franchise called Cliff Beasts. But as you’d expect, sticking passionate cast and crew members together in one posh hotel is going to lead to sneak-outs, hook-ups and many, many meltdowns. Featuring a comedy-packed cast including Leslie Mann, Karen Gillan, Pedro Pascal, Maria Bakalova, Fred Armisen, Keegan-Michael Key, Kate McKinnon and more, The Bubble is the meta-comedy flick to laugh at the absurdity than has been this pandemic. New on Prime Video April 1: The Outlaws

British comedic legend Stephen Merchant (The Office, Extras) has a new show new on Prime Video this weekend. Titled The Outlaws, the thriller-comedy series follows a disparate group of felons who are thrown together to complete community streaming service. Their luck appears to turn when they discover a bag of money during work, but little do they know that some dangerous people are looking for it. New on Disney+ March 25: Better Nate Than Ever

New on Disney+ streaming this weekend is Better Nate Than Ever, the latest musical comedy film that will tickle your tap toes. Based on Tim Federle’s novel of the same name, the story centers on Nate Foster, an unpopular 13-year-old middle school student whose dreams of becoming a Broadway star keep getting dashed by his reality. Fed up with being constantly overlooked by his local productions and tired of never getting the lead roles he deserves, Nate and his best friend Libby sneak away to pursue their dreams in the Big Apple. Along the way, they encounter Nate’s estranged aunt Heidi (Lisa Kudrow), who turns this already-wild adventure upside down.
