PS5 Can Streaming Netflix, Spotify to YouTube

This latest feature further strengthens the PS5 as a versatile entertainment device.

PlayStation 5 can not only be used to play games but the latest game console from Sony will also support streaming services to watch tv and listen to music.

Sony has confirmed that popular streaming apps such as Apple TV Plus, Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus, Hulu, Netflix, Peacock, Spotify, Twitch, and YouTube will be available when the PS5 launches on November 12, 2020.

Unfortunately, the entire list doesn’t include HBO Max, which are in contract disputes with Amazon and Roku over the inclusion of a new streaming app on their platforms, as well as pay-TV options like Sling.

So for now we can use PlayStation 5 to watch streaming movies like After Love stream.

However, the anime video streaming service Crunchyroll, which is owned by the same parent company as HBO, will be available at launch.

Additionally, Sony also confirmed the PlayStation 5 – Free guy stream Media remote will include four dedicated buttons for Disney Plus, Netflix, Spotify, and YouTube. The remote will launch alongside the PS5 on November 12, 2020 but won’t come with the console.

The remote is available as a separate purchase for USD 30. With the next-gen console arriving in the next few weeks, Sony is showing that the upcoming console is more than just a system for playing video games.

The inclusion of four dedicated buttons for popular streaming apps on the remote as well as the system interface, gives an idea of how PS5 owners will be able to use the device in the future.

In 2021 the technology is getting more sophisticated, the PlayStation 5 (PS5) is not just an ordinary game console, but can be used to watch streaming. You can imagine that with PS5 we can watch Der Menschliche Factor film stream or movies that are currently busy, such as the Nebenan film stream and also other tense films.

How to Stream PlayStation 5 Games to All Your Devices With Remote Play

First, you have to enable the feature on your PS5. Go to the Settings menu and go to System > Remote Play and turn on the Enable Remote Play switch. You’ll also want to head to Settings > System > Power Saving > Features Available in Rest Mode and turn on “Stay Connected to the Internet” and “Enable Turning On PS5 From Network.” That way, if your PS5 is in Doze Mode, you can wake it up remotely for streaming.

You also need to make sure your network connection is strong. If you’re just streaming games from room to room in your house, internet speed doesn’t matter — just the strength of your home network. (Internet is required to connect to your PlayStation Network account, but won’t use data for streaming if you’re on the same network as your PS5).

However, a fairly fast internet connection is required, if you’re streaming from your PS5 at home to your phone or tablet elsewhere, like a friend’s house. Sony recommends that the upload speed at home and the download speed at your streaming destination be at least 15Mbps, although speeds as low as 5Mbps can be used.

Apart from that, games can stutter, slow down, or lose connection if you are away from the router. For best results, I recommend plugging your PS5 into the router with an Ethernet cable. You should also do the same with the PC or PS4 that you use to stream games. Unfortunately, you’ll be stuck on Wi-Fi if you stream to your phone because Remote Play can’t stream over cellular data.

During the setup process, you can test your internet to see how good a connection you have. You can always lower the streaming quality to 720p, 540p, or lower if necessary. If your home’s Wi-Fi is lacking, check out this guide to try and fix it.
