Spider-Man: No Way Home made a huge box office splash when it released last month. Marvel’s Spider-Man has kept up with Spider-Man’s movie appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and adapted their prolific costumes to the game.
Spider-Man: No Way Home concludes a chapter in Peter Parker’s life and celebrates this with a new costume. The new suit is then taken out for a spin at night in New York City. It appears to represent Spider-Man’s traditional red-and-blue aesthetic, though it has a distinct, reflective sheen on its blue sections. A fan by the name of jedijosh920 has shared a video of Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4, where the new Spider-Man: No Way Home suit has been added through mods.
The mod appears to have only altered these distinctive blue sections of the suit for the purposes of the mod. Indeed, the final scene in Spider-Man: No Way Home does not provide a clear look at any one part of the suit as Spider-Man twirls, swings, and slides along rooftops. But the blue stands out from the rest of the suit as it shimmers, similarly to Marvel’s Spider-Man‘s Spider Armor MK 4 Suit or the Vintage Comic Book Suit.
Marvel’s Spider-Man‘s Classic Suit is used for the basis of the mod and keeps its default chest and back spider insignias. However, the movie’s suit insignias are much more difficult to discern without taking a look at freeze-frame screenshots that fans have since uploaded to the internet. The movie’s insignias look much more angular and unique, but the Classic costume does well to interpret the suit nonetheless.
The video montage shows this mod in action through several cinematic sequences that show off the suit best, such as simple nighttime web-swinging and the sequence where Peter first creates the Advanced Suit in Marvel’s Spider-Man. The score that plays in this specific scene from the movie is also featured in the video, making this mod a closely authentic adaptation of Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s new suit.
