The Conjuring 3’s director, Michael Chaves, says that the upcoming installment in the acclaimed series is the franchise’s biggest and darkest.
The events featured in The Conjuring 3 make it the famed horror franchise’s biggest and darkest outing yet, according to its director, Michael Chaves. For the first time since the based-on-true-events series began, James Wan has stepped away from directorial duties, allowing Chaves to take the latest installment in new directions.”Mortal Kombat 2021 Streaming”
Kicking off in 2013, Wan introduced audiences to Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga), a real-life couple who were known for their examinations of paranormal incidents. The first Conjuring film dealt with a Rhode Island haunted house that had baffled and terrorized its owners in 1971. The film initially looked as though it was little more than a standard jump-scare horror story, but audiences immediately took to it, ultimately helping to make it one of the highest-grossing horror films of all time. The response to the film came as a bit of surprise for many and three years later, a sequel arrived, this time set in London. The Conjuring 2 offered audiences an all-new real-life case to be terrified by, with the Warrens taking on a bigger challenge than what the first film provided. The sequel was a huge hit and managed to surpass The Conjuring’s impressive box-office numbers.”Mourir peut attendre 2021 Streaming”
After what’s been a very long wait for Conjuring fans, the release of The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It is on its way. The film will arrive on HBO Max and in theatres on June 4, and this time around audiences can expect something darker and bigger than the franchise’s past installments. In a recent interview with IGN, Chaves revealed that the third film in the series will take the Warrens in new directions, allowing the famed paranormal investigators to step away from the well-worn concept of haunted dwellings.”After – Chapitre 3 2021 Streaming”
The new film follows the murder trial of Arne Johnson, who killed his landlord in 1981. After his arrest, Johnson went on to become the first person in American history to claim demonic possession as a defense. The case became known as the Devil Made Me Do It case, hence the incorporation of the name into the new film’s title. The case had originally involved 11-year-old David Glatzel, who was believed to be possessed after a lengthy list of troubling occurrences. His family contacted the Warrens and it was during an attempted exorcism of Glatzel that family friend Johnson (who was present at the time) is said to have been possessed by the demon that had taken up residence inside Glatzel.”F9 Fast & Furious 9 2021 Streaming”
It’s not unusual for a director to assure audiences that their latest film will surpass everything they’ve done before. In the case of The Conjuring 3, Chaves wants audiences to know that things are now moving in a new direction for the franchise, and that in some ways, the end results will outdo what’s come before. Fans of Wan and his particular style might be nervous about this new direction as well as the fact that someone else is now directing the adventures of the Warrens. But there’s no reason to think that Chaves isn’t fully capable of pulling off the franchise’s latest hit, and a move toward bigger, darker terror sounds promising.”Dune 2021 Streaming”
